Position:Direct Support Professional (DSP) Malee 1:1
Location:Little Rock, AR
Schedule:Sat /Sun 8:00 AM
-8:00 PM
$14.00 per hour (negotiable based on education and experience)

What You'll Do:- Support individuals in developing essential life skills, from health and hygiene to independent living tasks.
- Foster a positive and respectful environment at home and in the community.
- Assist with daily routines as outlined in the Medicaid Waiver Person-Centered Service Plan.
- Help individuals engage with their community through activities like shopping, social events, appointments, and more.
- Provide safe and reliable transportation using your personal vehicle (must meet AR state insurance requirements).
- Maintain records of consumer expenses and document progress.
- Offer valuable input during annual service planning meetings.
- Complete required training, including CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, and in-service sessions.
- Submit weekly documentation and timesheets on time.
- Age Requirement: 18 years or older.
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant experience in public health, human services, or a community service agency. Alternatively, two years of verifiable experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities may qualify.
- Driver's License & Insurance: Valid Arkansas driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance.
- Background Check & Drug Screening: Required for all candidates.

Ability to effectively interact with individuals and understand written instructions.

- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and kneel as needed.
- Lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs frequently, and 100 lbs occasionally.
- Drive in various weather conditions to transport individuals safely.
You’ll be working in a dynamic group home setting and traveling within the community. The noise level is moderate, and reasonable accommodations can be made to support individuals with disabilities.
