• Provide direct patient care by obtaining medical history, vital signs, and lab samples
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding changes in patients' conditions
• Schedule, register, and check out patients efficiently
• Collect payments, issue receipts, and verify insurance coverage
• Document all patient care activities and adhere to safety protocols

• High School Diploma/GED and completion of Medical Assistant training from an accredited program
• Ability to perform point-of-care testing and draw blood specimens
• Minimum of one year of experience in phlebotomy and/or as a Medical Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting

• Additional experience in a clinical setting
• Certification in advanced medical assistance techniques
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations
• Participation in continuing education and professional development
