• Serve as a patient resource for scheduling and billing inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate data collection
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and tests using hospital systems
• Conduct pre-registration, input/update patient information, and manage walk-ins
• Perform insurance verification and benefits explanations, gathering necessary medical records
• Collect payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily deposits while providing financial counseling to patients

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in basic computer and keyboard functions
• Excellent customer service abilities and knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Good telephone etiquette and familiarity with office machines, including printers and scanners

• CHAA Certification
