WHAT YOU WILL DO- Work with network engineers, system administrators, database administrators, and information security to design application server environments
- Serve as a liaison between the Infrastructure administration groups and end‑users of the applications
- Understand how IT issues impact business and proactively identify potential problems and solutions
- Develop relationships with vendors and internal clients, ensuring systems meet corporate quality standards and industry best practices
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and translate those into technical requirements
- Coordinate with development teams to identify business needs
- Architect and automate business processes within Dillard's application framework
- Participate in an on‑call rotation
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment
- Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Experience with
* NIX and/or Windows - Effective scripting and automation knowledge, and the ability to analyze systems to meet client needs
- Skilled at working within a team‑oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience with LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) or Active Directory
- Experience in application development
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Experience with multiple scripting languages
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, and/or Power Shell would be very beneficial
- Learn the apps the team is responsible for
- Familiarize yourself with Tenable, and navigate within the application
- Familiarize yourself with the IAMS process
- Work with the team lead to know which application you'll become the SME on
- Navigate Service Now and know how to open a change ticket
- Discuss mail flow and understand how email flows through our applications
- Create new FTP rules on demand and rerun existing rules when requested
- Create a Lucidchart diagram and documentation for one of your applications
- Speak in detail about the IAMS process
- Resolve software vulnerabilities and install updates on your assigned applications
- Familiarize yourself with the code repository and handle its day‑to‑day maintenance
- Join the on‑call rotation and handle on‑call for the applications you've been assigned
