Job Description

*** Only qualified Access/SQL Database Developer candidates located in the Little Rock, AR area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Job Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects in the existing Access front end and SQL Server back end
  • Ensure daily operational workflows function consistently and accurately
  • Document business logic, database relationships, and application workflows to enable internal support. Provide knowledge transfer to OIT Staff
  • Collaborate professionally with business stakeholders to clarify issues and confirm successful resolutions
  • Coordinate with the modernization project team to ensure continued alignment, without performing modernization work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access / VBA for debugging and maintenance of existing forms, queries, and modules
  • Strong SQL Server experience (queries, stored procedures, debugging)
  • Experience in reverse-engineering and maintaining legacy systems without redesigning them
  • Ability to follow change control, documentation, and testing processes
  • Comfortable working within existing architecture and constraints
  • Understanding of accounting or financial workflow systems preferred
  • Prior experience stabilizing legacy applications during transition to new platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and knowledge transfer
