Cyber Security Engineer

Security Engineering & Infrastructure Design, implement, and maintain security solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, and network security controls.

Implement identity and access management (IAM), MFA, PAM, and Zero Trust security.

Collaborate with IT teams to secure enterprise systems, networks, and applications.

Threat Detection & Incident Response Monitor and investigate security threats using SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms.

Conduct threat hunting, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.

Develop incident response procedures and coordinate remediation efforts.

Vulnerability Management & Risk Perform vulnerability assessments and security risk evaluations.

Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities.

Support patch management, system hardening, and threat mitigation.

Cloud Security & Automation Implement security controls across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.

Automate security monitoring and remediation using Python, Power Shell, or similar tools.

Integrate security practices into Dev Ops and CI/CD processes.

Governance & Compliance Support security policies, audits, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Apply NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS security frameworks.

Maintain security documentation and support disaster recovery planning.
