Senior In-House Litigation Attorney | Epic
Join Epic’s legal team as a Senior In-House Litigation Attorney. This position is based at our Madison, WI campus and requires relocation to the area, which we fully reimburse. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
OverviewYou’ll support Epic’s ongoing growth as we expand our offerings and enter new global markets. Your primary focus will be on managing complex litigation and counseling on various potential risk areas, including regulatory, competition, and healthcare law, among others. You will help handle and win multi‑million dollar disputes, minimize risk through proactive counseling, and represent the company in high‑stakes legal proceedings.
Additionally, you will forge relationships with vendors and industry collaborators, ensuring compliance with existing and developing legal frameworks in the U.S. and abroad. Your level of responsibility will increase rapidly as you expand your knowledge of our industry.

- Manage complex litigation and counsel on risk mitigation across multiple practice areas.
- Draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents and take depositions and oral arguments.
- Negotiate settlements and represent Epic in high‑stakes legal proceedings.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and industry collaborators to ensure compliance with legal frameworks.
- COVID‑19 vaccination is required.
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area is necessary and will be fully reimbursed.
- Eye for detail, a creative mind, and excellent communication, writing, and analytic skills.
- Strong academic and professional background.
- JD with experience counseling toward risk mitigation, drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions, conducting oral arguments, leading settlement negotiations, and trying cases. Competition and regulatory litigation experience is a plus.
