Summary of

Job Duties:

The Nurse Recruiter serves as an ambassador for the nursing profession and for UAMS. This role focuses on promoting the value and impact of UAMS nursing through community engagement, social media, digital and print campaigns, and recognition and retention programs, promoting a positive image of nursing. The Nurse Recruiter actively travels to nursing schools, career fairs, and community events to inspire the next generation of nurses and elevate UAMS’s reputation as an employer of choice.

The Nurse Recruiter also builds and maintains relationships with nursing programs, faculty, and student organizations to increase awareness of opportunities within UAMS. The Nurse Recruiter evaluates opportunities to create and streamline a pipeline of nurses to the organization. This position does not manage the hiring process but instead supports the visibility, recognition, and pride of nursing within and beyond UAMS.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
  • Valid RN License
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • One (1) year experience with demonstrated success in recruiting, program development or retention
