RN - Poison Control Specialist

• Provide clinical information and treatment recommendations for toxic exposures to healthcare providers and the public
• Update and maintain electronic medical records based on inquiries related to toxic and potentially toxic exposures
• Educate callers about toxic substances and medications
• Assist in the instruction and education of professional students and residents
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Current RN license required
• Ability to follow oral instructions and proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
• RN with emergency department or critical care experience preferred, though new graduates with prior LPN experience in these areas are also considered

• Previous experience in emergency department or critical care settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
