Schedule:

Full-Time, Shifts Vary. This position will be used to fill multiple positions. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in the ICU /Trauma Progressive Care Unit (F4). F4 is a 30-bed blended ICU and Intermediate care unit providing care for a wide variety of patient populations, primarily focused on trauma and acute care surgery. Common diagnoses include traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, blunt, penetrating, and orthopedic trauma, as well as geriatric falls.

Care is also provided for surgical patients following abdominal surgeries and patients requiring long term mechanical ventilation. Education is provided to staff that includes the basic critical care course, dysrhythmia course, advanced cardiac life support certification, and trauma nursing core certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
• Valid RN License.
• One (1) year Registered Nursing experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethics and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Certification
• BSN or MSN
• 2 or more years of nursing experience
• A minimum of 1 year in an acute care setting such as a teaching hospital
• Cardiac experience
