We are seeking an experienced Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 3-week locum tenens assignment in Arkansas. This position begins on Dec 31, 2025, and offers 12-hour night shifts providing coverage in a Neuro ICU. The assignment involves managing high acuity neurocritical care patients during overnight hours.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide nighttime coverage for a Neuro ICU
• Manage critically ill and high acuity neuro patients, including those with:
• Stroke
• Brain and head trauma
• Aneurysm
• Encephalitis
• Perform advanced assessments and interventions as appropriate for neurocritical care patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Additional Information

• Must have active AR Nurse Practitioner license
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification required
• Previous experience in critical care and neurocritical care is essential
