OPEN POSITION:

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Sports Medicine & Orthopedics

SCHEDULE:

- Full-Time

- Monday to Friday

- 8:00am to 5:00pm

- No Evenings

- No Weekends

- No Holidays

- No On-Call

COMPENSATION:

- $120,000+ Starting Base Salary, negotiable depending on experience

Little Rock, Arkansas

COMPANY PROFILE:

This multi-specialty private practice serves all of Little Rock and the surrounding area, specializing in sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, whiplash treatment, custom rehabilitation plans, and more. Their office boasts services in neck and spine, shoulder, arm and elbow, hip, hand and wrist, knee, ankle and foot, and leg. Their dedicated team of orthopedic physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are experts in the treatment and care of the musculoskeletal system.

POSITION

DESCRIPTION:

This practice sees patients for a wide range of orthopedic pain and injury conditions, as well as sports medicine.

The role of the nurse practitioner / physician assistant includes, but is not limited to:

- therapeutic joint injections

- trigger point injections

- pre- and post-operative patient care

- assist with consultations

- assist with medical decision-making, data gathering, and transitions of care

- assist with reassessments, acute visits, clinics, and test monitoring

- assist with patient follow-up and medical management

Providers see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, but this can be adjusted based on patient need.

Providers are fully supported by dedicated clinical assistants and administrative staff. The new provider will see patients independently, and also sometimes work alongside an established orthopedic physician.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Arkansas PA or NP license

- DEA

- full training provided; no experience required
