Summary ofJob Duties:
The Registered Nurse (RN) for the Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL) Interventional Psychiatry Hospital-Based Outpatient Department is responsible for a broad range of activities that are critical to the functioning of the services.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or Master's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Arkansas
- Excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, strong work ethic, and accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of Registered Nurse experience
- Current BLS

- The RN will consistently provide effective direct care to a variety of patients, work as part of the interdisciplinary team, based on licensure, title, and competencies.
- The RN seeks, as well as provides, feedback for improved clinical practice.
- The RN integrates theory and research into clinical practice.
- The RN works under the direct supervision of the CSM.
- Collects and documents assessment data.
- Develops a Plan of Care (POC) per standard.
- Implements POC including medical order and interdisciplinary approach.
- Evaluates the progress of patient toward attainment of desired outcomes.
- Provides effective patient/family education/discharge planning.
