Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

The Warehouse Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring product, packaging and labeling conform to specifications and meet required levels of quality. The incumbent may also test materials before, during, and after production to measure the characteristics of materials and ensure that they conform to specifications.

Major Responsibilities
  • Understands Quality Inspection Sheets (QIS)
  • Understands quality visual criterion for success.
  • Identifies all components of the BOM and identifies missing components on packaged product.
  • Verifies the master carton number and the master carton label.
  • Uses color meter to verify part color.
  • Verifies label position on parts and master cartons.
  • Communicates quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
  • Uses barcode scanners to identify product.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by Team Lead.
Skills Required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Inspection and/or production experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to stand and walk around for extended periods of time
