The Principal Toxicologist may lead interdisciplinary teams to address complex environmental issues or more independently with a small team on a case-specific basis. The ideal candidate will be a recognized expert in their field, have a solid understanding of the scientific consulting business and be able to provide direction and growth for the team under the guidance of Senior Business leaders.
** ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE
** Perform other duties as assigned.
** EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CREDENTIALS
** 10+ years of relevant work experience in scientific consulting (required). Familiarity with data visualization software, such as Tableau (preferred)
** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
*** Ability to obtain a Passport and Driver’s License Ability to obtain HAZWOPER Certification Ability to obtain DISA Clearance Ability to obtain TWIC Clearance
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet conflicting deadlines.
Ability to complete all job-specific OSHA Training Ability to comply with all job-specific OSHA requirements, including the wearing of a respirator. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Possesses excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with careful attention to detail.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Ability to work overtime and on weekends upon demands of project deadlines. Ability to read effectively from a computer screen, sampling device and/or a paper copy Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to drive noncommercial vehicles
