The Security Officer Commercial Patrol Driver role at Allied Universal offers an exciting opportunity to safeguard a range of commercial real‑estate clients as an unarmed patrol officer. This is a driving post, so you will navigate the property by vehicle while remaining visible and approachable to provide outstanding customer service and communication.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and attention to site‑specific protocols.
- Document observations, incidents and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
- Collaborate with property management and/or building personnel to address security‑related needs.
- Remain alert to surroundings and report any unusual conditions or concerns to the appropriate parties.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- This is primarily a driving post.
- Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
