** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for emergency healthcare operations.

+ Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements, and complete accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a CPO certification.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
