Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Redstone Construction Group, Inc.

• $16.00/hr - $25.00/hr (Base pay)

• Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment.
• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence and performs all duties under DOT regulations & company safety policies.
• Minimum of three years of experience working on construction equipment and on-road trucks.
• Perform routine scheduled maintenance on construction equipment and dump trucks.
• Perform onsite and in-field maintenance and repairs on paving equipment as needed.
• Complete maintenance and work order repair records.
• Be able to weld and fabricate as needed.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment parts, parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment.
• Operate a company vehicle on public highways and job sites.

• Ability to stoop, push, kneel, twist and lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to climb and perform work on heights of 20 ft.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position.

• Work environment includes office, facility with construction equipment inventory, repair/service shop, and may include construction job sites.
• Noise levels can be loud.
• Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area.
• PPE must comply with site specific requirements.
• Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and stooping.

Full Time, Hourly. Working hours may vary due to job necessity, including long hours and weekend work.
