Shop Mechanics

Job Description

A client in the construction industry is looking to add 2 Shop Mechanics to their team in Little Rock, Arkansas. They will be responsible for performing regular routine preventative maintenance service on construction equipment, responding to service call requests and performing repairs. They will follow standard routines for service and complete electronic work orders in a timely manner. They must be able to maintain a DOT physical for driving commercial vehicles and will work Monday-Friday on an 8-5 PM work schedule.

• 3 years of experience with heavy diesel
• Associates Degree or 5 years of equivalent experience
• Ability to work on hydraulic and air braking systems
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
• Basic understanding of diesel engines
• Hydraulic trouble shooting and repairs
• Suspension Systems experience with heavy equipment
• Experience with Vermeer Equipment, including pile drivers, skid steers, mowers, trucks, etc.

• Engine (Gas and Diesel)
• Transmissions
• Troubleshooting
