Seasonal Team Member - Textbook Distribution Center

Go Textbooks and its affiliates are a multifaceted business that is composed of many entities with extensive experience in the bookstore and e-commerce space. Our company has a strong focus on higher education and student success. We believe that success starts with providing students from all walks of life with affordable textbooks. This fast‑paced, hands‑on role will support our distribution center operations during the peak season and is projected to end on February 6, 2025 (subject to change based on business needs).

• Receive, scan, sort, and organize incoming inventory
• Pick, pack, and assemble customer orders with accuracy and speed
• Pack and label shipments for safe and timely delivery
• Load/unload trucks and move materials safely throughout the warehouse
• Use handheld scanners, carts, and other warehouse equipment
• Perform repetitive tasks including lifting, shelving, sorting, bending, and continuous walking
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members and support various warehouse functions as needed

• Warehouse or distribution center experience is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 60 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive motions for an entire shift
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
• Able to use handheld scanners and basic warehouse technology
• Team‑oriented with a positive, task‑focused attitude
• Flexibility to meet peak‑season operational demands

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Mandatory:
  One full week of 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shifts
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts required (Sunday shifts are 11:00 AM–9:00 PM)
• Full‑time hours required for the duration of the assignment
• Overtime is required based on business needs

• Fast‑paced distribution center environment
• Varying temperatures depending on warehouse area
• Continuous standing and walking, plus stair use as needed
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions

• $14.00 /hr
• In‑person position
