Delivery Driver

Job Description

Supports the day-to-day operations of order fulfillment from picking, staging, wrapping, loading, and delivering product. Responsible for other aspects of warehouse functions when needed, including stocking shelves, inventory reconciliation, and maintaining the warehouse/yard in a safe and orderly fashion.

7am to 5pm Monday through Friday with minimum overtime (Saturday morning work required only a few times a year).

This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test screening for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines, following HHS and SAMHSA cutoff levels.

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse, distribution, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to identify product by size, type, style, color code/sku.
• Must be able to read orders/match orders without error on shipping tickets and stock items while manually entering correct catalog numbers.
• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification of power-truck equipment and a DOT Medical card is a must.
• Operating inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
• Organizational skills, attention to details and general data entry competence is a must.
• Proven delivery driver experience is highly desirable.

• Able to move/lift up to 60 lbs unassisted.
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
• 75% of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing.
• Position may require climbing ladders for top-level selection.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
