Commercial Lead / Senior Commercial Manager / Cost Management Lead Farciennes, Wallonia, Belgium €170,000 - €200,000  Bonus A senior commercial leadership opportunity is available for an experienced cost management professional with a background in large-scale construction programmes. This role will focus on leading commercial delivery, managing client relationships and supporting complex data centre construction projects from a cost management perspective.

The Commercial Lead / Senior Commercial Manager / Cost Management Lead will combine technical cost consultancy expertise with leadership responsibility, working with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality commercial outcomes. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of strategic projects, lead teams and support business development activity within a mission-critical construction environment, with rotation options available. Act as a key commercial contact, building strong client relationships and supporting long-term account development Lead cost management activities including estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities and quantity take-offs Manage cost planning and estimating processes using CostX and relevant cost databases Provide commercial leadership across multiple projects and stakeholder groups Support proposals, presentations and business development activity Lead and mentor commercial teams, supporting the development of junior leaders Implement quality assurance and quality control processes to support consistent project delivery Provide commercial oversight of MEP packages, with strong technical understanding required Commercial Lead / Senior Commercial Manager / Cost Management Lead Requirements:
Extensive cost management experience, ideally with a minimum of 15 years experience in pre-construction environments Background within cost consultancy or a similar commercial construction environment Experience delivering major construction programmes, ideally within data centres or comparable sectors such as oil & gas or life sciences Strong capability in cost planning, estimating, quantity take-offs and bills of quantities Experience using CostX or similar estimating and measurement software such as Planswift, Cubicost, Candy or ZW CAD Strong understanding of MEP packages, including exposure to MEPF requirements Experience leading commercial teams and managing senior client relationships Knowledge of global procurement processes Chartered status or working towards chartership is preferred Candidates must have the legal right to work in Belgium or be open to relocating.
