I'm working with an established business in the Worthing area that is looking to appoint a dynamic Finance Assistant to join its finance team.

This is a varied, hands on role offering exposure across sales ledger, credit control, cash management, expenses, payroll, reconciliations and month end - ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience and develop their career.

The role will include:

• Cashflow and bank balance updates
• Customer receipts and cashbook payments
• Sales ledger and credit control
• Weekly debtor reporting and customer statements
• Invoice discounting administration and reconciliations
• Customer account validation
• Staff expenses and credit cards
• Monthly payroll and pension processing
• Month end support
• Ad hoc financial analysis
• Supporting the wider finance team when required

What they're looking for:

• Previous finance/accounts experience
• Ideally studying towards an accounting qualification
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organisational and prioritisation skills
• Confident with Microsoft Office
• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
• Experience of D365 Finance & Operations would be advantageous
