Activities Coordinator - Bank

This role is ideal if you enjoy entertaining others or designing activities and want to make a real difference. You may be new to care or looking for a new challenge within one of our homes.

Location and Rating

Fulford care home, Littlehampton, West Sussex. CQC rating:
Good.

Responsibilities
  • Companionship – provide support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents.
  • Activity design – take charge of designing engaging activities plans internally and with external resources.
  • Event planning – organise events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for residents.
  • Resident interaction – discuss with residents to discover which activities they want and help realise those plans.
  • External communication – coordinate with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits for residents.
  • Mobility support – encourage independence through activities such as Zumba, ballroom dancing, balloon tennis, etc.
  • Social activities – arrange trips out, social engagements and in‑home activities for all ability levels.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
  • Current commitment to a bank contract – flexible working is essential.
