- Conduct technical and competitive landscape research to address customer inquiries effectively
- Educate sales executives and partners on the employer's products, platform, and security features
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in sales engineering
- Fluency in German
- Strong technical background in messaging and Internet security principles
- Comprehensive understanding of Internet protocols (HTTP, SMTP, DNS, etc.)
- BSCS/BSEE or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in selling software to FTSE 500 companies
- Knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocol, and network configuration components (firewalls, routers, etc.)
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP or CEH
