Project Superintendent
Energy Systems Group (ESG) is looking for a Project Superintendent to join our Public Sector Southwest team. This position will be virtual, but the candidate should reside in Colorado or Texas. It requires approximately 50% to 75% travel, including overnight stays, based on job site location.

Essential Functions- Study job drawings and specifications to determine appropriate construction methods and schedules
- Work with client onsite to schedule work effectively
- Review weekly productivity reports and manage budgets
- Manage General Condition costs efficiently
- Schedule work with client and sub‑contractors, including the delivery of material
- Provide two‑week look‑ahead to customer and construction team
- Hold weekly or bi‑weekly update meetings with the construction team
- Manage material, labor, subcontractor, and project budget throughout project lifetime
- Review contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems
- Coordinate project work with Construction Manager: documentation, scheduling, changes, subcontractors, etc
- Work with subcontractors and manage workflow to meet schedules
- Manage the project to maximize Energy Efficiency
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines and maximize productivity
- Evaluate proposals from subcontractors and vendors, confirm scope of work matches contract
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed
- Work with Project Manager to compile progress billings for the project and assist with payment, as needed
- Develop construction schedules
- Attend site meetings and work with the Owner/Customer to clearly communicate expectations
- Review subcontractor work and manage to quality control programs
- Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes as well as environmental or other regulations
- Be the on‑site representative for Southwest Energy, working and communicating with the Customer and Subcontractors throughout project construction
- Prepare daily logs for work to be completed
- Manage the project to Southwest Energy’s safety program
- Manage activities during warranty timeframe
- 5 years Project Superintendent experience
- Experience with Energy Efficiency–based projects preferred
- Superior written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
