Our family-owned private practice is looking for an outgoing, charismatic and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team. We are not a big corporation. We have a friendly work environment where we strive to be team players. You will not be forced to sell. Our office operates Tuesday through Friday with Mondays off. Our schedule can be very flexible to meet your needs.

This is a FULL TIME position
. Our hours are 8am-5pm, expecting staff to be present at least 15 minutes before the first patient. We have well-working equipment with sharp instruments and ultrasonic scalers in both hygiene rooms with plenty of cavitron tips. We serve all demographics of the population, from preschoolers to the elderly, and we operate a steady office with high levels of traffic. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere.

As noted, this job is full time but can be very FLEXIBLE with these hours.

• Collect medical and dental histories from patients
• Chart dental conditions based on dentist's observations and evaluations
• Sterilize dental instruments and tools
• Help with recall appointments on down time
• Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental oral hygiene and importance
• Administer local/topical anesthesia as needed
• Dentrix experience preferred but not necessary

• Experience or strong interest in dental hygiene and patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Calm, reassuring, and friendly demeanor
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team
• Willingness to adapt to flexible hours

Pay ranges from $55-$60 per hour depending on experience. Employee benefits start after the probationary period of 90 days.
