Foothills is seeking an Art Instructor. This position is responsible for planning, preparing, and teaching students with varying abilities how to use tools and raw materials properly and encouraging students to show creativity and individuality with their artworks. The Art Instructor must be dependable and have experience teaching children and adults.

Rate$20.75- $26.25/hour
Required Experience Art Instructor IRate: $20.75 per hour
- Three (3) years experience teaching in a specialized art form. Instructor shall be a working artist and/or art educator and must possess at least three (3) of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or a directly related field
- Five (5) years of ongoing experience in a specialized art form
- Have completed an apprenticeship
- Possesses extensive knowledge gained through a variety of specialized workshops/trainings and has extensive knowledge of equipment required for the successful operations of the class/program
Rate: $26.25 per hour
- Five (5) years experience teaching in a specialized art form. Instructor shall be a working artist and/or art educator and must possess at least three (3) of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or a directly related field
- Eight (8) years of ongoing experience in a specialized art form
- Have completed an apprenticeship
- Possesses extensive knowledge gained through a variety of specialized workshops/trainings and has extensive knowledge of equipment required for the successful operations of the class/program
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred
- FREE use of our recreation/fitness centers, swimming pools, and ice arena
- FREE drop-in fitness classes (includes but is not limited to yoga, Zumba and aerobic classes)
- Golf discounts ($3 - $14 for 9 holes depending on day of week, free driving range and more!)
- Discounts on other recreation programs/classes
- Flexible schedule
- Accrued sick time (1 hour for every 30 hours worked)
