Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineering Services and Systems global service team is one of the largest and most experienced teams of power system professionals in the industry. Eaton’s Power Systems Engineers deliver professional engineering, design, and analysis services. As a new engineer, you will provide applied engineering and technical consultation for customers in power systems studies, power quality analysis, electrical design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and training.
You will engage closely with customers from project start through final on‑site presentation and training, interpret specifications, and design technical proposals and pricing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide applied engineering and technical consultation for customers in power systems studies, power quality analysis, installation, startup, maintenance, repair and training.
- Engage closely with customers from project start through final on‑site presentation and training.
- Interpret specs and customer inquiries to design technical proposals and pricing for customers.
- Operate in an entrepreneurial environment with emphasis on high‑quality support, lead times, and sustained relationships with the Eaton sales team and end‑users.
- Prepare for both technical and future leadership roles through structured training and development curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Prior relevant internship or co‑op experience within the electrical/power industry.
- Undergraduate specialization in power systems analysis (three‑phase circuits) and electric machines.
- Experience with engineering software (AutoCAD, MATLAB, SKM, Easy Power, and/or ETAP).
- Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.
Required (Basic)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with a focus in Electrical or Electrical/Computer Engineering from an accredited institution (graduation before August 2026).
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Minimum of one internship/co‑op experience or equivalent of 3 months of electrical experience at the time of application.
- Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
- Must not require immigration sponsorship;

Location: One of five major regions within the United States (Central, Northeast, Southeast, Gulf, West). Typically near a major U.S. city.
Physical Demands & Travel: Up to 25% local travel; duties include standing, walking, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds.
