Lockheed Martin Space is looking for an innovative and experienced Systems Engineer to support the team that designs, develops, fields and operates systems for a variety of national security mission partners for a growing program in SPP Mission area.

This a key role in the successful execution of activities of major significance to the nation's National Security Enterprise. A significant focus on this position will be cross-organization relationships and collaborative problem solving. This role will interface with program teams, Cross BA teams, customers, Executive leadership, and as such the candidate must have shown success in working with customers (internally and externally) to mutually agreeable outcomes.

As a Systems Engineer, your roles and responsibilities will What does this role look like? As the Design Lead for a next generation system you will:
• Develop/analyze/verify system level requirements and document & manage them accordingly.
• Coordinate with customer and other contractors to execute verification analyses and tests.
• Organize/coordinate domain expert objective evidence creation and documentation.
• Organize/coordinate system level technical trades.
• Support all phases of the program lifecycle (development, production, and post production).
• Build successful teams with internal stakeholders (engineering, ATLO, SEIT members of other segments) and external stakeholders (customer, external segment providers, USG organizations).
• Be accountable to the Chief Sytem Engineer for executing engineering efforts on schedule. Important Details
• The successful candidate must also have ability to successfully collaborate with groups of engineering personnel, and be creative and dedicated to anticipating problems and issues before they happen in order to mitigate them and maintain schedule
• Current or Active Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
• A successful candidate will typically possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of related professional work experience
• This role does not support teleworking and the selected candidate MUST be able to work onsite at our Littleton, CO campus.

Basic Qualifications:

• Current/Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
• Strong Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test background
• Experience in leading efforts across IPTs and groups to deliver for major milestones
• Experience with design, requirements development, and systems analysis, with experience in systems development lifecycle execution and best practices on software and hardware-based systems
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using CAMEO or similar tools

Skills:

• Prior SAP access
• Experience in requirement management and verification
• Proven ability to innovate and develop creative solutions to resolve unexpected issues real time
• Experience in customer-facing roles, giving technical presentations to leadership
