As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and testing of cutting‑edge spacecraft battery systems and test equipment. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and subsystems, as well as integrating and testing complex spacecraft systems.
- BS degree from an accredited college in a related Engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Aerospace, Chemical, Mechanical) or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience in electrical test and/or systems integration engineering
- Experience writing and/or executing test procedures derived from program requirements
- Familiarity with electrical test/measurement equipment:
Digital Multimeters (DMM), Oscilloscopes, etc. - Experience and/or knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Familiarity with computerized data acquisition and automated test control systems and instrumentation
- Familiarity with systems engineering and test‑like‑you‑fly practices
- Ability to perform in stressful environments with ambiguous or incomplete information
- Able to communicate complex technical ideas to an audience with varied technical backgrounds
- Test lab experience including hazardous testing and/or environmental testing (e.g., vibration, shock, TVAC, etc.)
- Programming experience within the LabVIEW, Python, and/or MATLAB software development environments
- Technical ability to learn/navigate computer systems and complex software
- Experience with Automation Framework
- Attention to detail
- Experience reading, interpreting and explaining electrical schematics
- Experience with electromechanical systems

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
