Join us as a Circuit Design Engineer where you will design and develop hardware and circuits for complex satellite and rocket test and measurement systems utilizing Common Off the Shelf (COTS) and custom hardware and software tools as well as, perform hardware engineering best practices to include: requirements analysis, design, and software/hardware integration.

This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in:
• Sunnyvale CA
• Littleton CO You are expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Troubleshoot electronics circuit and isolate the root cause of product failure.

• Wire harness design and electronics assembly development and integration.

• Operate electrical / electronic test equipment.

• Develop, document, and release engineering drawings.

• Solve complex technical problems.
• Perform hardware engineering best practices to include:
Requirements analysis, Design, and test & integration.

• Develop test plan and procedures tracible to the product and system requirements.

• This position requires interaction, planning and coordination with cross-functional development teams and internal & external customers across multiple disciplines.
• Commute daily to on-site work location in Sunnyvale California. To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Electrical circuit design and troubleshooting experience.

• 5+ years professional experience; 3+ years with Masters degree.

• While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required. Why Lockheed Martin? Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Electrical circuit design and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience in electronics design, with a focus on CCA design and development.
• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret government security clearance.

Skills:

• High level knowledge of electronics components and detailed electronic design of analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuits and associated circuit schematic tools and simulation tools.

• Experience designing with COTS Hardware and Software.
• Experience in using Zuken schematic/cabling drafting tool (or similar) and Creo 3D modeling tool (or similar) centered in model-based engineering.

• Knowledge and experience with industry standard test and measurement platforms and components for automated monitor and control.
