As an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects (E3) Engineer, you will support the System Engineering (SE) Special Disciplines Organization within National Security Space (NSS) in one or more of the following areas:
• Primary role will be to perform main aspects of EMI testing to include: planning, writing of test procedures, conducting/overseeing the equipment availability, setup, testing, and test report to stakeholders and customers
• Apply and grow your electromagnetic engineering skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived requirements and solutions
• Perform and support functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
• Perform and support requirements sell-off through: compiling, organizing, performing, evaluating and documenting completed compliance verification process which assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at both the package and system levels

Basic Qualifications:
• Expertise and conversant with Mil Std 461/464 requirements and the applicable test methods
• Expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) theory
• Active or Current Top Secret security clearance; US Citizenship Required
Desired
Skills:
• Experience with satellite and/or missile system and/or box level test and analysis (or equivalent)
• MATLAB, Excel, CST/EMA3D (3-D modeling software tool), and PSPICE or equivalent experience
• Generating EMC/E3 Control Plans, procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent
• Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Analysis
• Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, proactive and self-starter, demonstrated teamwork and leadership
• Enthusiastic learner, independent thinker, and team-player
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
