RF Engineer - Antenna (Level IV) – Top Secret clearance
Signed to Lockheed Martin Space, Littleton, CO.
We are seeking a Senior RF Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of antenna‑element hardware from concept, design, modeling/analysis, through system integration, test‑plan development, and component qualification.
Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end antenna‑element hardware development.
- Develop and analyze technical requirements, perform trade studies, and allocate functions to RF payloads and subsystems.
- Review supplier/factory data to ensure compliance with RF engineering requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation, specifications, and interface definitions for RF antenna components and subsystems.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, management, and peers to define system integration and test plans.
- Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) experience required.
- Deep knowledge of antenna element design and active electronically‑steerable arrays (AESAs).
- Knowledge of RF communications link‑budget analysis.
- Active Top Secret clearance; ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Degree in electrical engineering or a related STEM discipline (desired).
- Proficiency with development of specifications and interface definitions for RF antenna components.
- Experience with tools such as Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS, AWR Microwave Office or similar.
- Experience with antenna design and analysis software including GRASP, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, WIPL‑D, FEKO, etc.
- Experience designing antennas and/or feed networks such as reflectors, waveguide components, horns, helices, phased arrays, or electronically‑steered antennas.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $123,500 – $217,695 (excluding most major metropolitan areas); or $142,000 – $246,100 in major metropolitan areas.
