Overview
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the design, development, fielding, and operation of systems for national security partners in the SPP Mission area. The role focuses on cross‑organization collaboration, problem solving, and execution of activities of major significance to the National Security Enterprise.
Responsibilities- Execute system‑level tests to verify and validate requirements.
- Perform risk‑reduction tests to discover issues as early as possible.
- Investigate systems/hardware problems, plan risk reduction, integrate, and execute test plans.
- Participate in regular meetings and touchpoints for the integrated team, including stakeholder alignment and updates for leadership.
- Ensure correct data is captured for requirement verification during test execution.
- Review data and provide feedback to hardware and integration teams.
- Accountability to the Integration and Test Lead for execution of planned program activities.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test and familiarity with the systems development lifecycle.
- Experience executing system‑level tests on a complex, multi‑segment system and understanding interdependencies.
- Experience integrating various subsystems and components to meet system requirements.
- Current or active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance; US citizenship is required.
- Experience planning and executing system‑level tests on a complex multi‑segment system, including external segment providers.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with hardware and software developers to satisfy mission requirements.
- Ability to get results from teams without direct authority.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on multiple roles as part of daily program operations.
- Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the program lifecycle.
- Prior SAP access.
Top Secret clearance is required; US citizenship is mandatory.

9x80 with every other Friday off.
