Job Opportunity:
Electrical Battery Test Engineer
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full‑time Early Career or Electrical Battery Test Engineer. As part of the Assembly Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) organization, you will design, develop, and test cutting‑edge spacecraft batteries, systems, and test equipment alongside a diverse and talented team.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test spacecraft batteries, systems, and test equipment; analyze engineering drawings and technical documentation; execute test procedures; troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline.
- Experience and/or knowledge of navigating engineering drawings, technical documentation, and basic systems engineering concepts.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles and the ability to understand the relationship between hardware, software, and electrical systems.
- Experience writing and executing test procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic systems.
- Familiarity with computerized data acquisition and automated test control systems and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with electrical test/measurement equipment:
Digital Multimeters (DMM), Oscilloscopes, etc. - Time and project management skills.
- Test lab experience including hazardous/destructive testing and environmental testing (e.g., vibration, shock, TVAC, etc.).
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to audiences with varied technical backgrounds.
- Programming experience within LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, and/or VBA.

Work Schedule- Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Schedule:
9x80 with every other Friday off.
$60,200–$106,030 annual base salary (range varies by location).
