Please join us as a Responsible Product Engineer/Certified Principal Engineer, where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.

This position does not support teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in:
Littleton, CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

Digital products include digital processing, software defined radio, command & data handling, controls & avionics, and any other digital systems that are utilized on Lockheed Martin space or missile systems.

The critical skills utilized in this role will include experience in FPGA and/or ASIC design, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design, Embedded Software, FPGA Gateware, Systems Engineering/Requirements Management, Systems Integration & Test, Guidance Navigation & Control, and Electrical Engineering. To be effective in this role, you will need:

Experience in a Responsible Engineer / Product Lead role for analog and digital electronics.

Experience working with Subcontractors and sub-tier suppliers.

Familiarity with other engineering processes, disciplines and Subject Matter Experts.

Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.

Experience in different phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle.

Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.

Proficiency in presentations and in written communications.
3+ years of professional experience.

Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
