This position will serve as the technical lead for the integration of hardware and software subsystems across complex system platforms. This role drives architecture, defines integration strategies, leads cross‑functional verification activities, and ensures seamless interoperability between electronic hardware, firmware, and higher‑level software components.

Core Responsibilities Integration Architecture:
Define and maintain the end‑to‑end integration architecture, including hardware interfaces, firmware, middleware, and application layers.

Technical Leadership:
Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers (electrical, firmware, software, test) through concept, design, implementation, and verification phases.

Requirements Management:
Translate system‑level requirements into detailed integration specifications and verify traceability throughout the lifecycle.

Interface Control:
Own Interface Control Documents (ICDs), ensure configuration management, and resolve interface mismatches.

Verification & Validation (V&V):
Develop integration test plans, supervise test execution, and analyze results to certify compliance with performance, safety, and reliability goals.

Risk & Issue Management:
Identify integration risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and drive resolution of technical issues across functional domains.

Tool & Process Development:
Champion model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, automated build pipelines, and continuous integration frameworks for hardware‑software co‑development.

Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with program management, customers, and external partners to communicate integration status, milestones, and technical decisions.

Mentorship:
Coach junior engineers on integration best practices, system thinking, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
