Job Description Introduction We  are looking for a creative Electrical Engineer to join an exciting and dynamic team in designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical test equipment used to ensure missile safety.

Location:

This position does not support teleworking. You will need to live near the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Waterton, CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?

The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth with long-term stability. We need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers. You will join the LE2 – Autonomous Flight Termination System (AFTS) team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program.  You will design and integrate hardware for a critical safety component in the missile.

The role will contain a mix of circuit design, analysis, and simulation, with lab work including building and testing circuit card assemblies (CCAs). Some tools used are Zuken, Hyperlynx, Eldo, and Maxwell. You will test prototypes to ensure the design is functional, write test plans for technicians to check production boards for manufacturing defects, and may supervise testing.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

Example:

Design electrical circuits.

Support other designers in meetings with layout, routing, and production specialists.

Simulate circuit assemblies.

Perform Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA), part variability analysis, and power and signal integrity analysis.

Test developed circuits and write test plans.

Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.

Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting; generation, review and presentation of Product Certification; and support system level testing.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
