This is a full‑time opportunity where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of our company. We offer our Controller - Accounting Specialist competitive pay of $90,000 - $110,000 per year and incredible company-wide benefits, including:

As our Accounting Manager, you will be the driving force behind our financial strategy. You will produce and analyze monthly finance reports, ensuring accurate reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management. You'll provide cash flow projections, monitor budget performance, and report key finance metrics to the CEO. With a keen eye for efficiency, you'll evaluate and streamline accounting policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring maximum profitability.

You'll also manage payroll, oversee AP/AR transactions, conduct vendor negotiations, and lead the collection process. Your role extends beyond numbers—you'll collaborate with business consultants and leadership to refine financial strategies, optimize capital investments, and drive company growth. In short, your expertise will not only keep our finances in check but also propel Sanders & Johnson, Inc. toward long‑term success.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other business‑related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller, preferably within a consumer‑facing trades company (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
• GAAP accounting experience with accrual methods
• Solid experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Deep understanding of Quick Books Online

Having experience with Service Titan software is a plus. Advanced credentials such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are preferred but not required.
