This is a fast-growing, product-based startup operating in a highly complex environment that blends manufacturing, technology, and multi-state operations. With a close-knit team, the culture is collaborative, hands-on, and entrepreneurial—and growing quickly.

This is a critical, high-impact role and the company's first dedicated Accounting/Finance hire. You'll own accounting end-to-end while helping lay the foundation for future FP&A as the business scales. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building processes from scratch, and wants to be deeply embedded in the business. You won't be stepping into a fully built-out function—you'll be creating it.

• Own full-cycle accounting including GL, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Build and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation from the ground up
• Manage complex revenue streams, inventory accounting, COGS, and cost tracking
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis (FP&A exposure)
• Partner closely with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Oversee multi-state operations and transaction-heavy environments
• Work within Quick Books (experience preferred, not required)

• 5–7 years of accounting experience
• Background in both public and private accounting strongly preferred
• CPA preferred
• Experience in a high-complexity business (manufacturing, product-based, inventory, multi-entity, multi-state, high transaction volume)
• Startup or high-growth company experience highly desirable
• Proven ability to handle full-cycle accounting (not siloed in revenue, technical, or expense-only roles)
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating without a playbook
• Someone who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and building systems
