About the Role: As part of our Clinical Assessment Team (CAT), you’ll conduct comprehensive initial assessments, provide accurate diagnoses, and recommend treatment plans. You’ll work with individuals seeking counseling or treatment for mental illness or substance use, helping them take the first step toward recovery.

What You’ll Do:

  • Complete initial, court-ordered, and substance use assessments
  • Conduct intakes and make referrals for next steps
  • Deliver recommendations that lead to successful outcomes

Hours
: 10-7 or 9-6, except on Fridays it would be 8-3

LCSW, LPC, LMFT Salary: $68k - 72k annually

LSW Salary: $59k - 66k annually


LAC:
Adds an additional $5,000 to your base

  • Provide and conduct at least 22 - 24 assessments and/or screening/referrals per week to consumers affected by mental illness and substance abuse/addiction. Assess and/or evaluate and refer in accordance with the needs of the consumer and the referral source. Develop initial treatment plan with consumer/family.
  • Provide case management and care coordination with providers of service and referral sources. Make initial records request for documentation, including but not limited to, caseworkers with Human Services, probation officers, primary care physicians, and other mental health service providers. Enhance the collaborative effort between agencies regarding consumers.
  • Provide detailed written observations of initial assessment in accordance with All Health Network standards. Must complete all required clinical and administrative documentation to accepted standards of practice, accurately, legibly, and by established timelines on agency computer system and paper as needed.
  • Provide PRN Crisis Counseling as needed.
  • Successfully access supplemental treatment resources and community resources.
  • Participate in All Health Network meetings including team meetings and quarterly All Staff meetings, individual and group supervision, and various Network committees as deemed appropriate.
  • Complete and follow through with financial and clinical information necessary to ensure reimbursement for services provided to consumers by all payers.
  • May be asked to perform consultation services to community agencies.
  • Complete all required trainings as listed in Relias Training (both online trainings and face-to-face trainings).
  • Follow all All Health Network clinical policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including those related to confidentiality, release of information and record keeping.
  • Demonstrate customer service focus, good communication, and professionalism with consumers, co-workers, and outside agency personnel to provide high quality services and to enhance community relationships. Demonstrate initiative, organization, and flexibility.
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the position as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years postgraduate experience in a behavioral health care setting required. Demonstrates knowledge of assessment and referral in the context of mental illness and substance abuse. A working understanding of contemporary utilization management practices.
  • Experience and interest in providing therapeutic services within a time effective and recovery oriented framework. Ability to screen, assess, evaluate and refer consumers who seek services. Ability to clearly and concisely document the results of an assessment/evaluation and referral. Valued skills include a team-oriented perspective and flexible work style. Demonstrates initiative. Knowledge of community systems and resources.
  • Ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 15 lbs.
