Overview

Lockheed Martin is developing Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4

ISR) solutions that enable our customers to acquire, analyze, fuse and disseminate critical information from thousands of sensors on manned and unmanned platforms across air, land, sea and space.

The Work
  • Oversee day‑to‑day information system security operations, including audit of security controls, hardware and software implementations, and RMF package authorizations.
  • Carry out technical administration of information systems in line with internal and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Maintain, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
  • Document compliance actions with the ISSM to address non‑compliance within allotted time frames.
  • Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of according to internal security policies and practices.
  • Participate in internal and external security audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain records for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, network switches, telephony equipment, and other information system assets throughout their life cycles.
  • Evaluate proposed changes or additions to information systems and advise the ISSM of their security relevance.
  • Maintain and document configuration management for security‑relevant software, hardware, and firmware.
  • Assist in investigating computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary, and ensuring correct protection or corrective actions are taken.
  • Communicate, implement, and manage a formal Information Security / Information Systems Security Program in collaboration with the ISSM and Program Security team.

Please Note:

This position requires a U.S. government security clearance and the candidate must be a U.S. citizen. The role is full‑time and onsite at the Deer Creek Facility in Littleton, CO.

Basic Qualifications
  • Final Top Secret clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
  • Valid certification meeting or exceeding DoD 8140 basic foundational requirements for ISSM work, such as Security+, GSEC, CAP, CASP+, CCISO, CSSP, CISM, CISSP, Cloud+, SSCP, or GSLC.
  • Experience with information system auditing and investigations.
  • Knowledge of operating system security requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience with industry‑standard Information Assurance tools.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining RMF artifacts.
Desired Skills
  • Experience implementing new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments and at an enterprise level.
  • Currently working in an environment supporting intelligence community customers.
  • Proven ability to obtain and maintain system ATOs.
  • Hands‑on experience with ICD 503, JSIG, and DAAPM/DAAG.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification.
  • Experience setting up or using Tenable Nessus/Security Center.
  • Experience with Splunk.
  • Experience with scripting languages.
  • Experience implementing or validating Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIGs).
  • Experience with containerization.
