Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Perl, Korn Shell, and Bash shell scripting, PKI, LDAP/DNS, and Web servers
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
• Have a strong understanding of Amazon Web Services
• Experience with cloud computing, including creating and setting up resources, hardening/patching, transitioning, and maintaining existing resources
• Hands-on experience with snoop, tcpdump, and Wireshark for packet analysis and troubleshooting
• Be based at 1666 Aurora CO – 17699 E Steamboat, Aurora, CO, with flexibility to support other facilities as needed

Experience/Skills:

• Proven experience supporting IBM and Red Hat (RHEL) developers through troubleshooting complex OS problems, including IBM Power HA and RHEL clustering applications
• SAN expertise, including evaluation of RAID levels for optimal performance and requirements
• Deep understanding of backups and archiving, with experience using Tivoli Storage Manager and SBAdmin
• Subject Matter Expertise in server configuration, installation, and maintenance for Red Hat Linux and AIX platforms, with clustering expertise for resource availability and load balancing
• Knowledge of server and workstation upgrades, including creating and maintaining kickstart images
• Hands-on experience with post-installation processing

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
