We are seeking an experienced Rock RMS Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for ongoing maintenance and operation of Rock RMS. Working with Red Rocks Church ministries to design, create and test workflows per ministry needs. Will ensure appropriate levels of access to the Rock for all levels of users and maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive member information.
Training staff with new procedures and abilities and new features as they become available from the Rock Community.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Rock RMS or similar Ch Ms
- Experience working or volunteering at a church or ministry context is preferred
- Strong understanding of relational databases, user permissions, workflow design, and reporting
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL is preferred
- Experience in data analytics is a plus
- Skilled at creating digital solutions for ministry needs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
- Maintain all Rock RMS functionality including person records, groups, check-in, connection boards, dashboards, etc.
- Ensure overall system uptime and smooth operation
- Maintain data integrity by resolving duplicate records
- Create custom workflows and automations for ministries operational needs
- Create and manage metrics reports and dashboards for church and ministry leadership
- Manage appropriate permission levels for all church staff and volunteers
- Collaborate with digital ministry team to ensure proper data flow between Rock and our church website and mobile application
- Support church staff with their day to day Rock operations (sending communications, editing groups, scheduling volunteers, etc.)
- Stay up to date with new Rock updates, features, and best practices
- Participate in regular training opportunities to gain knowledge and enhance technical and professional skills
- Contribute to Red Rocks’ overall mission to Make Heaven More Crowded
- Commit to pursue full devotion to Jesus Christ
- Adhere to the policies and procedures as outlined in the Red Rocks Church Team Handbook
- Follower of Jesus Christ
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively under the pressure of time constraints
- Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment
