The Erebus Program is a newly awarded 7-year effort that delivers cutting-edge intelligence and geospatial data management applications and services to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). As the premier geospatial intelligence program globally, Erebus supports over 14,000 intelligence analysts and decision-makers at 50 distinct locations worldwide.

The Program’s focus is on meeting the current mission needs of our customer, but also pioneering future automation solutions for the NGA based on agency directives. In this role, you will be part of a software development SCRUM team as the embedded system engineer and will be assisting with system modeling, requirements definition and user outreach to ensure proper design of the software architecture. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Scrum processes and System Requirements (such as Jira and Confluence) and be familiar with system modeling applications (Cameo).

The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Be part of a software development SCRUM team as the embedded system engineer.
• Assist with system modeling, requirements definition and user outreach to ensure proper design of the software architecture.
• Utilize Scrum processes and system requirements tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and be familiar with system modeling applications (Cameo).

• Strong foundational knowledge of engineering principles, system architecture, and design
• Working knowledge of Cameo
• Experience working within a Scrum team

• Knowledge of GEOINT analytic workflows
• Understanding of Cedalion or Orchestration Services applications
• Previous experience working on a SW program

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
