OverviewThe Littleton Group is rapidly expanding in our commercial transportation division. We are looking to add Liability Commercial adjusters with Bodily Injury and Litigation experience to our rapidly growing Transportation division. We are seeking candidates with the ability to provide excellent customer service, properly analyze and apply coverage, and adjudicate Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims in a professional manner.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrong verbal and reporting skills are necessary to provide detailed reports to clients. A college degree is preferred. Prior experience with commercial trucking and transportation claims is required. This position requires a high level of personal motivation and self-discipline and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prefer minimum of 5 years commercial transportation experience
- Superior report writing skills
- Strong Time Management skills
- Effective Communicator
- Holds a valid Texas all lines license (Florida, New Mexico, and other licenses a plus)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have above average computer skills
- Team player
- Litigation Experience is required
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Provide excellent customer service
- Analyze and apply coverage on both routine and complex claims
- Adjudicate claims in an expeditious and professional manner
- Set and maintain diaries
- Complete client reporting timely
- Control loss adjustment expenses, recommend and manage reserves
- Documents all correspondence, reports, discussions, and decisions in the claims system
- Notifies management of any situations which may affect the underlying claim
- Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned
