Job SummaryMaintenance Technicians ensure plant equipment and facility are in proper working order. They have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. They engage in preventative maintenance to keep machines from breaking down and in reactive maintenance to fix machines when they do break down.
Essential Duties- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, operating or repair manuals, and drawings.
- Perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineering.
- Use test and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot equipment and determine best course of action for repair.
- Work with senior level technicians to perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment (inspection, calibration, lubrication).
- Write procedures to document various operations executed by maintenance technicians and review with engineering and senior maintenance technicians for accuracy.
- Work overtime as required by workload and production needs.
- May work on other shifts and be on call as needed.
- Adhere to policies and procedures for hazardous materials, LOTO, equipment guarding, robotic safety, biohazard.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic maintenance experience.
- Basic understanding of tools, instrumentation, and test equipment.
- Basic understanding of metric and English measurement systems.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical drawings, flowcharts.
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge concerning machines and tools.
- Entry level knowledge of RF welding theory/process, bonding, ultrasonic welding, hot plate welding, leak testing.
- Functionality understanding of automation processes.
- Compliance with safety requirements.
- Controls logic, PLCs, Ethernet, Device Net, networks.
- Root cause analysis.
- Communication and collaboration.
- Verbal and written communication.
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate with peers.
- Maintain communication with different levels of departments.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Time management and prioritization.
- Action oriented, initiative to resolve issues.

- Pursue qualifications on Electrical Safety, RF Welding, and other applicable technical skills per defined timeline.
- Use personal protective equipment; read, speak, hear, walk, bend, stand, stretch/reach, hand/finger dexterity.
- Work in clean room environment, adhere to policies, perform gowning of clean room attire prior to start up.
- Lift to 50 pounds and transport up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment.
- Good manual dexterity, visual acuity, color distinction.
- Perform repetitive motions and moderate force gripping.
- Work under fluorescent/LED lighting.
- Sit or stand through shift duration.

$24.00 to $31.00 hourly
