We are currently seeking 1st and 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanics for both plants.

Job Summary

Responsible for repairing and installing production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed. This position also participates in tasks related to the company’s waste water processes.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned line(s)
• Respond to line calls
• Repair and troubleshoot all production equipment
• Upgrade areas with new equipment/technology; work with outside contractors working on assigned line
• Change line for package changeovers
• Participate in waste water treatment procedures as needed (to include record keeping and coordination of tank delivery and removal)
• Participate in special projects as needed
• This position requires continuous work near heat, noise, gas, chemicals. Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required as well as climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending and kneeling.
• Six Day Work Week

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Experience working with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and power transmissions
• Previous experience working with PLC, conveyors and airveyors and electrical systems helpful.
