This position will bring processed clothing to the sales floor and interact with customers to provide assistance. Excellent customer service skills are a must! Part‑time positions are available. Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.

Job Summary

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor is responsible for ensuring the sales floor is well stocked, clean, and presentable. The Associate interacts with customers, provides excellent customer service, and maintains overall cleanliness of the sales floor, restrooms, and dressing rooms.

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $15.65 per hour. This position is eligible for Daily Pay through Daily Pay. Part‑time employees in the Retail and Sales/Operations Division are eligible for paid holidays, sick leave, jury duty, and bereavement leave. All employees may contribute to a retirement plan and Goodwill of Colorado is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) eligible employer.

Essential Functions
  • Meet or exceed minimum productivity standards and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
  • Act as an ambassador for pricing, following Goodwill standards of quality and value (Good, Better, Best) and researching items’ value online or using company tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized sales floor by regularly cleaning shelves, picking up items, and putting away product from racks, carts, or baskets.
  • Ensure sales floor areas are merchandised to standard, categorized, colorized, and sized, and flex product to improve customer experience and increase sales.
  • Assist production by communicating targeted floor needs to the manager on duty.
  • Provide excellent customer service by adhering to the 10‑foot rule and answering product questions.
  • Rotate or pull odd or unsold product in a timely manner to refresh sales floor selection.
  • Identify and pull E‑commerce products from the sales floor.
  • Follow all retail center policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Cross‑train in other departments or act as a back‑up for other areas as required.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education
  • A high‑school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience
  • One (1) year of retail experience is preferred.
  • Prior visual merchandising experience is preferred.
Other
  • Attention to detail and decision‑making ability.
  • Basic technology use to follow company standards.
  • Judgment to assess product quality, value, and pricing.
  • Color vision to assess product quality and pricing.
  • Effective communication with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
